Wings of the Wild
Birds move through landscapes in ways that ground-bound creatures cannot. There is a certain freedom that exists only in flight.
This collection captures this movement. Photographing owls and eagles requires anticipation as much as observation. During my time photographing birds, I have learned to read subtle cues to know when takeoff will occur. A shift in posture, a change in wind, stillness.
These images are about perspective. The wild is a dynamic, ever-moving experience. One that continuously unfolds, just out of reach, always worth chasing.
