Meet the Photographer
Wyoming Wildlife Photographer - Ginny Harbaugh
What started on the sidelines quickly turned into something much more.
I first picked up a camera to capture my kids in motion–the intensity, the joy, the fleeting moments that seem to pass too quickly. Sports photography taught me to anticipate, to stay patient, and to appreciate beauty in split seconds.
Over time, that same passion for capturing these authentic, fleeting moments pulled me beyond the sports arenas and into the wild.
Today, my lens is focused on chasing the wild — seeking out the quiet presence of owls, the power of bears moving through the landscape, the distant calls of wolves, and the steady, unmistakable presence of a moose in its element. These moments aren’t staged or predictable — they’re earned through patience, appreciation, and a deep respect for the natural world.
Whether it’s the stillness of a snowy morning or the sudden movement of wildlife in its natural habitat, I’m drawn to moments that feel raw, unscripted, and wild.
My work is rooted in the same purpose it started with: preserving moments that matter — only now, those moments extend beyond the sidelines and into the untamed beauty of nature.
